The Off-White x Nike Blazer Low “University Red” is a collaboration between Virgil Abloh’s high fashion brand and Nike on a progressively styled version of the vintage basketball shoe. The first posthumous Nike collaboration from Abloh, who passed away following a private battle with cancer in late 2021, the Blazer Low in “University Red” cuts a vintage-modern look with aged details and inventive styling. The shoe features a white leather base with a University Red leather Swoosh on the sides. Several die-cut circles are found throughout the shoe’s upper. A yellow bungee-cord-like lacing system is found over the traditional lacing setup, an element found on the Off-White x Nike Dunk “Lot 50” series. The aggressive midsole is said to be inspired by the Nike Air Terra Humara shoe.
